Men's Health Consultations
Men’s Health Medicine consultations are available directly with me at The Windsor Wellness Clinic
Here we focus on understanding you as a whole person, being mindful of your maleness and the specific issues that come with being a man — not just your symptoms or diagnoses. Men experience health very differently from women and this may even provide barrier’s to seeking help and support.

What Is Lifestyle Medicine?

Lifestyle Medicine is an evidence-based approach to health
that uses six key pillars to prevent, treat, and in some cases
reverse chronic disease. Rather than relying on quick fixes,
we focus on the daily habits and environments that shape
your health over time.
What is Preventative Andrology?
Preventative andrology is the study and practice of men’s health through the principles of lifestyle medicine, with a focus on preventing male disease before it develops.
By addressing risk factors early and reducing the likelihood of chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, and lung disease, we also improve or avoid the male specific problems that many men worry about. Preventing chronic disease can feel abstract. Men are often more concerned with tangible, real world issues such as erectile dysfunction, low libido, prostate symptoms, low testosterone, fatigue, and reduced performance at work, in the gym, and at home.
Preventative andrology recognises these concerns as legitimate entry points into better health. By understanding men, their motivations, and what truly matters to them, we can use those priorities to extend health span and improve quality of life over the long term.
What to expect from your consultation

We consider your individual risk of metabolic disease and how this may affect your long-term performance, energy, and resilience. We assess the gradual hormonal shifts, changes in body composition, and loss of conditioning that can occur across adult life, and we explore how these directly influence wellbeing. We will also look at specific men’s health issues.
Your consultation can include, if you wish, the following:
-
A full medical history, including current concerns, past conditions, medications, and family history
-
Exploration of your home, your work and your social environment
-
A detailed review of your lifestyle using the six pillars of Lifestyle Medicine
-
Assessment of the factors that influence age related changes in the male body, with discussion on how to delay or reduce their impact. The earlier these patterns are understood the better, although it is never too late to begin
-
Address specific male concerns such as low libido, erection difficulties, prostate symptoms and low testosterone levels as needed
-
Physical examination
-
Collaborative discussion of investigations based on your priorities and goals
-
Agreement on clear and practical next steps

A Personalised, Collaborative Approach

Rather than prescribing a long list of changes, we work with you to:
-
Identify the most important lifestyle drivers affecting your health
-
Recognise your existing strengths and protective factors
-
Agree on realistic, meaningful goals aligned with your values and readiness for change
-
Focus on sustainable progress, not perfection
