GMC Revalidation to January 2029
Dr Mick Watts has worked locally as an NHS GP since 1990. He is a Member of the Royal College of GP's and former senior Partner locally at Datchet Health Centre.
He qualified from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in 1985 and went on to do his junior hospital jobs and GP training in London.
He married in 1989 to Louise who is a nurse and they have two adult boys both educated at Windsor Boys School.
In 1990 he started as junior partner in Datchet and with his partners helped establish the very highest quality NHS services for the area. During his time at Datchet he was instrumental in working across the area in his former NHS roles as Chair of Windsor Multifund, Founder of Windsor Medical Services and Chief Clinical Officer of The Federation of Windsor Ascot and Maidenhead Practices.
He left the partnership there in 2021 and has continued to work in the area as a GP.

After leaving Datchet Health Centre he quickly realised that he misses the continuity that lead him to become a GP initially.
In 2026 he joins Windsor Wellness Clinic:
The Windsor Wellness Clinic is a private GP and lifestyle medicine clinic in the heart of Windsor, England.
His availability there is on Monday and Thursdays and the Website is https://www.windsorwellnessclinic.com

Please note at the moment at WWC we only offer our services to adults from 18 years and upwards.
He joined Windsor Private GP Practice at The Princess Margaret Hospital at the end of 2024. Here he sees people of all ages.
He has found traditional family practice alive and well. He is very please to be part of the wonderful teams, surrounded by instant access to specialist Consultant advice and onward referral.
He maintains a session on Saturday mornings at PMH. https://www.windsorprivategp.com/
Dr Watts is a very experienced consultant GP able to advise on all medical matters. He has special GP level interests in:
Men's Health
Acute health conditions
Sports and musculoskeletal medicine including joint injection
Skin health and mole checks including dermoscopy
Chronic disease management
Children's health
Elderly medicine
Mental health and wellbeing
Lifestyle and wellness are a specific interest of his. Looking at overall health with a holistic approach to wellness allows all of us to focus on long term good health. His view is that longevity is not the goal we should be striving for. He has seen too many people live to great old age blighted by chronic illness and slow gradual decline. He advocates simply for long term good health by addressing mental wellness, exercise, nutrition, sleep and weight issues. Using this simple approach can radically improve our lives. He is currently writing his first book about men's wellness with the provisional title "Being XY".
Dr Mick Watts is a season ticket holder at Harlequins. He finished the London Marathon on three occasions and maintains his wellbeing with regular daily exercise, his Peloton bike, swimming, yoga, Pilates, weights and is recently a member of Windsor Leisure Pool and gym. He has a wide range of interests and is a keen blogger and writes regularly an irreverent and light hearted account of his travels life food and much other stuff at his social blog site www.NHSonTheRun.com
